He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Poirier and Janita Poirier (Goguen); and his siblings, Gérard, Elmo, Samuel, Donald and Denise.

He is survived by: his significant other Brenda (LeBlanc); his children, Lloyd (Natalia) of Vancouver, Angela (Tom Martin) of Halifax and Jonathan (Terri) of Calgary; his siblings, Rose Poirier Robichaud of Moncton, Yvette Robichaud of Moncton, Lilianne Blanchard of Notre-Dame and Marion Blanchard of Moncton; and his grandchildren, Joe Martin, Louis Martin, Samuel Martin, Frankie Martin, Lauren Poirier, Julia Poirer and Jonathan Poirier.

In memory of Bernard, a contribution to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or to the SPCA Moncton would be appreciated.
