He was predeceased by: his parents, Émile and Dorice. He is survived by: his children, David (Jocelyne Gautreau) of Cocagne and Renée of Cocagne; his grandsons, Philippe, Pierre-Luc and Germain; his siblings, Effie Kilen (Pat) of Calgary, Louise Péronnet (Jean) of Moncton, Arsène (Lorraine) of Dieppe, Paul-Émile (Dora) of Cocagne, Yvette Després (Jean) of Cocagne, Yvon (Jackie) of Cocagne, Murielle Oakley of Cocagne and Roger (Viola) of Cocagne; and the mother of his children Edith Collette. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In Rhéal's memory, a donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
