She was predeceased by: her parents, Eloi Melanson and Julie Melanson; and her siblings, Honoré, Léonard, Yvon, Léonce, Éloïse and Imelda.

She is survived by: her wife Hélèna; her daughters, Rachel (Fernand) of Scoudouc and Denise (Mike) of Scoudouc; her grandchildren, Stéphanie and Kevin; and her siblings, Angelo (Yolande) of Shediac Bridge, Alphonse (Germaine) of Dieppe, Lucille (late Raymond) of Dieppe, Juliette (late Roger) of Hartford, Annette (late Ernest) of Moncton and Gracia of Ottawa. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
