It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim McEwen of Salt Springs, New Brunswick, who passed away on October 14, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elton McEwen and Winnifred McEwen (Davidson); his children, Amy, Daniel, Samuel and George Robert; his siblings, Paul McEwen, Howard McEwen and Myrna Smith; and his pet Amanda.
He is survived by: his wife Irene (Kennedy); his children, Timothy McEwen (Cynthia) of Salt Springs and Tammy Shurtleff of Airdrie, Alberta; his grandchildren, Joey McEwen (Alycia) of Salt Springs, Denise McEwen (Colin) of Lakeside, NB, Tom Shurtleff of Airdrie and Ben Shurtleff of Airdrie; his great grandchildren, Payton, Piper, Aubree, Beau, Sophia, Amelia, Olivia, Layla and Bennett; his siblings-in-law, Leona McEwen, Cathy McEwen and Carlie Smith; and his foster brother Hallie Lohnes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
