He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Long and Eva Long (Darling); his wife Louise Long; and his siblings, Florence Keirstead, Elva Morrell, Treva McLeod, Shirley Sommerville, Judy Kelly, Wilbur Long, Francie Long, Raymond Long and Burton Long.
He is survived by: his children, Wade Long (Nancy), Mark Long (Kim), Cindy Allaby (Andy), Lisa Yeomans (Greg) and Krista Hanlon; his grandchildren, Adam, Matthew, Aaron, Josh, Alex, Johnathan, Jenna, Ashley, Sonya and Bailey; his great grandchildren, Alexa, Tyce, Neiko, Skyla, Louise, Tyler, Tanner, Dylan, Stetson and Jasper; his sister Marion Frail (Ron); his son-in-law Joel Hanlon; and his sisters-in-law, Jane Jeffrey (Ray) and Madeline Mcphee (Randy).
