He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Victor Russell and Hilda Russell (Ramsden); his former wife Nellie Russell; and his stepson Paul Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Lavina; his stepdaughter-in-law Lillian Lewis (late Paul); his granddaughter June Saunders (Peter); his great grandchild Kayla Saunders (Cory); and his brother Lester Russell.
