He was predeceased by: his nephew Kevin Haevens; and his parents, Dorothy Crandall and Adam Steeves. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Haevens; his children, Bonnie Dupuis (Gilles) of Riverview, Ruthie Murray (Randy) of Killams Mills, Susan Kaye (John) of Salisbury and Robbie Haevens (Lyndsey) of River Glade; and his siblings, Diane, Betty, Billy and Andrew. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
