He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Daisy and Sears; his stepfather Sterling Trites, Sr.; his wife Theresa (Elward); his children, Barry Gogan, Heather Gogan, James Leadbetter (Gayle) and Sheila Breau (Yvon); his grandchildren, Matthew Leadbetter, Natascha Gaynes and Justin Gaynes; his great grandchildren, Nevaeh Gaynes, Jaxon Evans, Nash Evans, Hudson Gaynes, Taylor Gaynes and Bailey Gaynes; his brothers, Sterling Trites and Lawrence Trites; his pet Dozer; his former wife Florence (MacNeil); and his siblings, Clarence Gogan, Erroll Gogan, Alan Gogan, Donald Trites, Beulah Levy, Marjory Russell and Doris Gogan. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
