He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Edmonds and Eleanor Edmonds; his daughter Krista Leaman; and his sisters, Marie Ayles and Betty Steeves (Allan).
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Kimberly Meikle (Shawn) and Robert Edmonds (Melanie); his grandchildren, Ashley Edmonds (Matthew), Kayla Leaman (late Kyle Chatham), Justin Edmonds (Jamie-Lynn), Allison Nanos (James), Ryan Meikle, Sierra Edmonds, Zackary Edmonds, Hunter Shaw (Maddie) and Hudson Shaw; his great grandchildren, Alli Jinson and Alix Chatham; and his brother-in-law James Ayles. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Throughout his life, John made significant contributions to his community of Salisbury, where he and Marilyn raised a family and resided for 35 years.
