He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sanford Colpitts and Mabel Colpitts (Leeman); his wife Joan (Lowerison); his daughter Patti Lee Coates (Terry); his daughter-in-law Connie Campbell; his grandchildren, Tera, Jenna, Jake and Eric; his great grandchildren, Madison and Jace; his sisters, Irene Horton of Moncton, Joan Colpitts of Fredericton and Marilyn Grewe of London, ON; his son Boyd; and his sisters, Ruth Hopper and Lila McKeil. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
