He was predeceased by: his father Alfred Eugene Gaynes; his brother-in-law Vernon Roberts; and his grandson Kane Bannister. He is survived by: his mother Albertine Gaynes (Lavigne); his wife Kim Gaynes; his daughters, Michelle Taylor, Katrina Gaynes and Nicole Currie; his grandchildren, Brooke, Scarlett and Mackenzie; and his siblings, Eugene, Harold, Laurie, Sandra Roberts and Wanda Turner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
