He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Wright and Evelyn Wright; and his siblings, Betty, Helen, Hester, Thelma and Willard.

He is survived by: his wife Marie Wright (Grant); his sons, Adam of Moncton and Matthew of Quispamsis; his granddaughter Ashley; and his siblings, Madeline and Richard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
