He was predeceased by: his parents, Burpee Steeves and Thelma Steeves (Plume); his daughter Jillian; and his siblings, Pauline Mann (Aubrey) and Conrad.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Perry); his children, Judy Mitchell (late Michael), Mark (Sharron), Jason (Shelly) and Michael Taylor (Mary Ellen); his grandsons, Jacob and Joel; his great grandchild Jillian; and his siblings, Darlene Corey (Gary) and Clinton (late Pauline). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
