He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Hawkes and Estella Hawkes; his siblings, Virginia Bolger and Edwin Hawkes; and his son Stephen Hawkes.

He is survived by: his wife Norma Hawkes; his daughter Lisa Fagan (Shawn); and his great grandchildren, Ariella, Grayson, Quinn and Beau.
