He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Thorne and Freda Thorne (Corey); and his sister Barbara Caines-Thorne. He is survived by: his wife Sandra (Maxwell); his children, Krista Woodman (Mike) of Havelock and Kent (Lisa) of Pine Glen; his grandchildren, Ashton Thorne of Montreal, Riley Woodman (Ashton) of Havelock, Brendon Woodman of Havelock and Blake Mannett of Pine Glen; and his siblings, Bernard (Donna) of Acton, ON, Bob (Linda) of Havelock and Berneta of Ottawa, ON. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends of the Moncton Hospital Oncology Unit.
