She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Teakles and Rose Teakles; her husband Delbert Bannister; and her sisters, Dorothy Collrin, Laura Wyse and Charlotte Steeves.
She is survived by: her children, Debora Cummings (Hazen) of Sussex, David Bannister (Brenda) of Elgin, Terry Bannister (Heather) of Portage Vale, Linda Biggar (Howard) of Corn Hill, Lois McMackin (Dale) of Petitcodiac and Joyce Bannister (Jonathan) of Havelock; and her brother Kenneth Teakles of Moncton. She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren, several great grandchildren as well as her nieces and nephews.
