She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Dallaire; her parents, Amédée LeBlanc and Délia LeBlanc (LeBlanc); and her brothers, Cleo (Évéline) and Donald (Alvina).

She is survived by: her sons, Reginald (Nancy), Marcel (Jeannita) of Sainte-Marie and Gilles (Nathalie) of Saint-Antoine; her grandchildren, Venessa, Mireille, Nicholas and Monica; and her siblings, Eva Richard (late Arthur) of Sainte-Marie, Oscar (Anna), Guillaume (late Phyllis) of Bouctouche and Arthur (Diana) of Sainte-Marie. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.

In Valida's memory, donations may be made to the Sainte-Marie-de-Kent parish fund.
