He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Vienneau and Dora Vienneau (LeBlanc); and his siblings, Edna (John) and Denis. He is survived by: his wife Cécile Vienneau (Robichaud); his daughters, Monique Cormier (Bob) of Truro, NS and Nicole Vienneau-Spencer (Everett) of Sainte-Marie; his grandchildren, Mathieu (Devan), Rébecca and Jeremy (Sara); his great grandchildren, Everly, Ben and Noah; his siblings, Doreen Boudreau (late Gerald), Stella Houle (Lucien) of Fredericton and Alfred of Fredericton; and his sister-in-law Jeannine. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.

In Gerard's memory, donations may be made to the Parkinson Association or to the Sainte-Marie-de-Kent parish.
