He was predeceased by: his parents, Benoit U. Martin and Léona Martin (Thériault); his son Richard; his son-in-law Guy Tardif; and his siblings, Réal Martin, Emérencienne, Moreau, Florence Adornetto, Gisèle Martin Thériault, Gérard and Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Germaine Ruest; his daughters, Lise Tardif (late Guy) of Saint-Leonard and Florence Gauvin (Gérard) of Sainte-Anne; his grandchildren, Valérie (Kyler Doucet), Mélanie, Vicky (Kevin), Cindy (Dave), Joey (Tabitha) and Denis; and his great grandchildren, Olivia, Heidi and Owen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the church on Friday from 3 to 4 p.m. For those who wish, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the New Brunswick Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
