He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilaire Cormier and Ida Cormier (Boucher); and his siblings, Alfred and Laurise. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine (Nowlan); his son Victor Cormier; his granddaughter Julie Cormier; his sisters, Yolande Collette (Rhéal Després) of Cocagne and Aline Bergeron (late Andy) of Fitchburg, Mass; his brother-in-law Aldérice Maillet of Irishtown; and also, Clarence Nowlan of Ste-Marie, Jacqueline Nowlan of Bouctouche, Léonce Nowlan (Bernice) of Moncton, Richard Nowlan (Gisèle) of Ste-Marie and Michel Nowlan (Josephine) of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
