He was predeceased by: his spouse Marie Richard (Allain); his parents, David Richard and Victorine Richard (Allain); and his siblings, Rose, Minnie, Élise-Anne, Dorilla, Catherine, Aurèle, Lionel and Emile.
He is survived by: his son Paul (Charline) of Moncton; his grandchildren, Luc and Melanie; and his siblings, Noella Richard, Dolphé (Rose-Mai) of Waltham, MA and Regis (Jean) of Pickering, ON. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
