He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvain Gallant and Léa Gallant (Richard); and his siblings, Marie-Louise Léger, Alex, Alderic and Gonzague.
He is survived by: his wife Ida Gallant (Poirier); his grandchildren, Sylvain (Maria) of Cary, NC, Michel (Lisa) of Saint-Joseph, Nadine Comeau (Jérémie) of Moncton, Chantal Gallant (Luc) of Sainte-Anne and Léa Gallant (Johnny) of Memramcook; his siblings, Cora Leblond of Oshawa, ON, Marguerite Gallant (Levi) of Grande-Digue, Yvonnisse Manuel of Miramichi, Eva Gallant (Ghislain Nero) of Chibougaramou, QC, Yvonne Richard (Zoel) of Leominster and Oscar (Diana); and his sister-in-law Nellie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, private visitation and a private funeral Mass will be held at a later date.
