He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelin Richard and Évangeline Richard (Arsenault); and his brothers, Raymond, Léandre, Léonard and André.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Richard (Williams); his siblings, Laura Nowlan of Saint-Antoine, Gerald (Gloria) of Saint-Paul, Léo (Joyce) of Moncton and Hervé (Carol) of Adamsville; and his sisters-in-law, Jeannette Richard of Saint-Antoine and Thérèse Richard of Saint-Antoine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
