It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vincent Maillet of Saint-Louis-de-Kent, New Brunswick, who passed away on June 12, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Amédée Maillet and Délia Maillet (Caissie); his son Joey; his stepgranddaughter Summer; and his siblings, Imelda and George.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Richard; his sons, Terry Maillet (Anna) of Mississauga, ON, Leonard Maillet (Paula) of Mississauga, ON and Lenny Maillet; his stepchildren, Léona Boucher (Ronny) of Richibucto, Marcia Richard of Richibucto, Maurice Richard of Rexton, Marc Richard of Cap-Lumière and Léon Richard (Chantalle) of St. Charles; his grandchildren, Adrianna, Emilio, Crystal and Dustin; his stepgrandchildren, Jean-Paul, Mathieu, Angèle, Mireille, Kyle, Chantal, Joey, Joline, Jonathan, Jessy, Valerie, Madeleine, Tyler and Colton; his siblings, Alma Lefort (late Lionel) of Moncton, Cécile Maillet of Moncton, Rose-Mai Maillet, Dieppe, Maria Comeau (Danny) of Bouctouche, Edmond (late Pauline) of Manchester, CT, Robert Maillet (Genéva) of Moncton, Alphonse (Jacqueline) of Moncton and Gérard (Docile) of Rogersville; and his sister-in-law Annette Maillet of Moncton. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

Visitation and a celebration of Vincent's life will be held at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto on Friday, August 20th, 2021 from 2-4pm ONLY Due to COVID-19 regulations, a maximum of 50 people at a time will be allowed in the funeral home. Masks are mandatory and we ask that social distancing be respected.
