He was predeceased by: his parents, Aldéric Doucet and Délima Doucet (Hebert); and his brothers, Dorald Doucet (late Rita Tremblay) and Félix Doucet. He is survived by: his wife Mina Doucet (Hebert) of Kouchibouguac; his children, Monique Doucet Maheux (Nicolas) of Halifax, NS and Mark Doucet (Chantal) of Cocagne; his granddaughters, Amélie Maheux and Eva Maheux; his siblings, Alida Daigle of Saint-Louis, Rose-Eva Doucet (James) of Saint-Louis, Norma Doucet of Saint-Louis, Adèle LeBlanc (Alvin) of Sainte-Anne, Rosimond Doucet (Emerise) of Aldouane and Gaétan Doucet of Saint-Louis; and his sister-in-law Germaine Doucet of Saint-Louis. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
