With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hélèna Arseneault of Saint-Louis-de-Kent, New Brunswick, born in Saint-Ignace, New Brunswick, who passed away on July 16, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arsène Gallant and Georgiana Gallant (Richard); the father of her children Alfred Arseneault; her daughter Alfreda; her siblings, Lillianne Gallant (late Arthur), Cécile Gallant and Ovila Gallant; and her son-in-law Vincent Downing.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bernice Richard (Daniel) of Irishtown, Géraldine Arseneault (Édouard) of Lakeville, Thérèse Babineau (Paul) of Saint-Charles, Lucille Arseneault (Scott) of Porter's Lake, NS and Andréa Downing (Ronnie) of Grande-Digue; her grandchildren, Line, Stéphanie, Lise, Mathieu, Annie, Julie, Jesse, Jason and Justin; and her sisters, Irma LaPlante (Paul) of St. Louis, Ozélie Gallant of Richibucto, Yvonne Gaudet (late Léopold) of Moncton, Émilienne Chouinard (late Isidore) of Levi, QC, Rose-Marie Gallant (late Adelard) of St. Louis, Gemma Gallant Macaskill (late Archie) of Richibucto, Marguerite Richard (André) of Moncton and Bernice Gallant Allain (Robert) of Shédiac. She is also survived by her seven great-grandchildren including an eighth grandchild.
