He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyprien Guimond and Minnie Guimond (Cormier); and his siblings, Berthille, Jeanne (Arc) and Rodrigue.

He is survived by: his wife Anna Guimond (Robichaud) of St. Louis; his daughter Pauline Daigle (Regilles) of St. Charles; his siblings, Dorca Doucet (Ligouri) of Beresford, Hilda Daigle (late Tilmon) of St. Louis, Anne Daigle (Gilles) of St. Louis, Oswald Guimond (Patsy) of St. Charles and Jean Guimond of St. Louis; and his sister-in-law Rose Daigle of St. Louis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations in Gilles' memory may be made to the New Brunswick Parkinson's Foundation and would be appreciated by the family.
