He was predeceased by: his parents, David D. Martin and Marguerite Martin (Thibodeau); his wife Dorothy Martin (McLean); and his siblings, Henriette, Anna, Rina, Claira, Jeannette, Laurette, Euthrope, Sandy, Maurice, Ronald, Réginald, Donat and Roger.
He is survived by: his son Terry Martin of Saint-Louis; his grandsons, Jacob and Alex Martin; and his sisters, Rolande Daigle (Rhéal) of Baie-Ste and Ethel Richard (late René) of Saint-Ignace. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
