He was predeceased by: his parents, Edouard Caron and Marie Caron (Ouellette); his daughter Donna; and his siblings, Andrina Cyr Bellefleur, Benjamin (late Elizabeth), Louis (late Yvette) and Armand (late Regina).

He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Michaud; his children, Danny Caron (Pauline) of Saint-Leonard and Lissa Caron Bellefleur (Daniel) of St-Leonard-Parent; his son-in-law David Lapointe (late Donna) of Saint-Leonard; his grandchildren, Leiko, Kesha, Danika, Tommy, Jason, Ashley and Shawn; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Peyton, Travis and Andy; and his sisters, Solange Caron of Edmundston and Blanche Levesque (Reginald) of St-Joseph. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
