He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloi Lachance and Gilberte Lachance (Tanguay); his son Jerry; and his granddaughter Faith. He is survived by: his wife Louise Lachance (Tardif); his children, Jimmy of Grand Falls, Joey (Anick) of Mont-Joli, Judy (Eric Cote) of Drummond and J. J. (Tracy) of Grand Falls; his grandchildren, Vanessa, Jeremy, Valery, Jazmyn, Laurie, Kédric and Éliane; and his sisters, Gail, Nancy of St-Jean and Linda (Michel Quirion) of Saint-Gedeon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, donations to the Cardiac Unit of the Laval Hospital, Quebec City would be appreciated by the family.
