He was predeceased by: his parents, Graydon Gillcrist and Dora Gillcrist (Brown); his wife Rena Gillcrist (Armstrong); his children, Karen Fillmore (Steve), Kevin Gillcrist and Trish Logan (Graham); and his granddaughter Kelsey Fillmore-Snow (Kaelen).
He is survived by: his brother Ward Gillcrist (Shirley).
