William Linton Obituary
In loving memory of William Linton (Saint John, New Brunswick), who departed this world on December 22, 2024 at the age of 82. William leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Linton and Vera Linton (Hayward); his former wife Marilyn Linton (Mullin); his wife Sharon Linton (Johnston); and his siblings, Robert Linton, Vera Linton, Mildred Nash and Eleanor Goss.
He is survived by: his children, Todd Linton (Corina) and Sherri Linton; his brothers, Wayne and Graham Linton; his grandchildren, Tylor (Kayla), Kyle (Kensie), Chris (Michelle), Tanner and Janet; and his great grandchildren, Isabelle, Riley, Taylor, Alex and Kole. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Castle Fallsview Funeral Home (309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M2L3). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Canadian Legion. A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Castle Fallsview Chapel (309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M2L3). A burial was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Fernhill Cemetery (200 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2E7).
In lieu of flowers donations in Bill's memory can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
