He was predeceased by: his parents, William James and Hazel Mary Lavigne (Higgs); his wife Donna Marie Lavigne (Foote); his children, Lori (Angelo), Jeffrey (Kerry), Jason (Tara), Ryan (Krystal) and Christopher (Robyn); his grandchildren, Olivia, Jordan, Craig, Jesse, Mikayla, Zachary, Jackson, Tenley, Harper and Hayden; his great grandchild Lief; and his brother John.
He is survived by: his siblings, Louise, Dorothy, Richard, Brian and Katherine.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fundy Funeral Home (230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G3). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (4347 Loch Lomond Rd, Saint John, NB E2N1C8).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim's honour to the H.O.P.E. Centre.
