He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Connell and Frances Gosson (Mosher); and his in-laws, Raymond, Daisy Watson and Veronica Lee.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Connell (Watson); his children, Billy (Angela), Matthew (Shelby) and Angela; his siblings, Robert (June), John (Laura), Debbie, Brenda (Paul), Carol and Elizabeth (Edward); his grandchildren, Shyanne, Tori, Sebastian, Desiree, Daisy and Drew; and his great grandchildren, Layla, Emmett, Autumn, Jaydon and Peyton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
