He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Smith and Edna Smith; and his siblings, Leonard, Danny, Donnie, Gordie, Jimmy, Phyllis Jacquard, Betty Driscoll, Emma and Doris McGaghee.
He is survived by: his wife Valerie Smith (Mannett); his children, Shane (Sherrie) of St. Martins, Trevor (Cheryl) of St. Martins, Shelly King (Stephen) of Edmonton and Tracie Dyker (Peter) of Saint John; his siblings, Dave Smith (Carol) of Saint John, Raymond Smith (Hilda) of Saint John and Carol (Orvele) of Ontario; and his sisters-in-law, Bev Langille, Barb LeBlanc and Sharon Guitard. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
