Violet McLaughlin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Violet McLaughlin (Saint John, New Brunswick), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 1, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. McCluskey and Catherine E. McCluskey (Comeau); her former husband Frank Howard; her close friend Bernard Ryan; her daughters, Deborah Lucy and Linda May; and her brothers, James, David, Thomas and Arthur.
She is survived by: her children, Norman (Judy) of Rowley, Frank (Laura) of Tynemouth Creek, Susan Ewing (Robert) of Tynemouth Creek and Karen Bedford (John) of Gardners Creek; her son-in-law Chris Good of St. Martins; her grandchildren, Kathy, Pamela (Derek), Robbie (Stephanie), Jimmy (Shawna), Jackie Ewing (Travis), Joey McLaughlin (Racheal), Laura (Jason), Ashley (Nick) and Angela Bedford; her siblings, Paul (Susan), Fred (Janet) of Saint John, Amy Smart (Ronald) of Vancouver, BC, Lucy Richards of Saint John and Joanne Stone (Roy) of Marmora, ON; and her sisters-in-law, Susan McCluskey of Rowley, Jane Wright (John) of Rowley, Rose Ryan-LeBlanc of Quispamsis and Margaret Tracy of Grand Bay. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
