He was predeceased by: his parents, Fidele Arsenault and Elmina Arsenault (Guimond); his wife Anezie; his siblings, Emile, Aurele, Francois, Fidele, Raymond, Flavie and Rosalind; and his great grandchild Mila Kate Markowsky.
He is survived by: his children, Robert (Colleen), Denise McFadyen (Gary) of Saint John, NB, Nicole McRae (Craig) of Saint John, NB and Pierrette Chessie (Jim) of Fredericton, NB; his sisters, Alice Castonguay, Yvonne Daigle and Therese LeBlanc (Lionel); his grandchildren, Mark Chessie (Alicia Hay), Monica Markowsky (Scott), Brian Arsenault, Brittany Arsenault, Jeffrey, Jillian McFadyen and Chloe McRae; and his great grandchildren, Dylan Chessie, Sam and Anna Markowsky. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
