He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald E. Olsen and Hilda Mae Olsen (Furrow); and his wife Verna Joy Olsen (Thornton). He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Olsen of Saint John and Jason Olsen (Tanya) of Sussex; and his granddaughter Melanie Olsen of Saint John. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Castle Funeral Home (309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M2L3). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Castle Fallsview Chapel (309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M2L3). A burial was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery (Saint John, NB E2M3Y3).
