She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dempster and Anne Dempster; her mother-in-law Delma Shorey; and her brothers, Arthur Dempster and Bill Dempster.

She is survived by: her significant other Terence "Terry" Shorey; her children, Robin Hebert (Carla), Susan McIntyre (Mark), Theresa Mullett (Ian) and Jennifer Shorey; her grandchildren, Emily, Sean, Ryan, Grant, Kenneth, Carson, Matthew, Jennifer, Madyson and Kaylee; her sisters, Marie Burchill and Susan Dempster; her father-in-law Eldon Shorey; and her siblings-in-law, Norman Shorey (Lori) and Debbie Morrell (Aubrey). She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
