He was predeceased by: his siblings, Pat, Gerry, Paul, Brian, Keith Beckingham, Becky (Robichaud) and Gloria (Kidd); and his siblings-in-law, Martha, Lada, Linda and Leo.
He is survived by: his spouse Lynn Ellis Hopey; his children, Michelle Groundwater (Andrew) of Lakeshore, ON and Scott Hopey (Cheryl) of Saint John; his siblings, Larry (Joan) and Christine Baker; his sister-in-law Betty Hopey; and his granddaughters, Callie, Jenna Hopey, Kaitlyn and Jocelyn Groundwater.
