She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas F. Cody and Eleanor Cody (Romney); and her brother Dr. Thane Cody. She is survived by: her son-in-law Scott Shapiro; her grandchildren-in-law, Liza and Henry; her son Cameron MacKeen; her child-in-law Halifax (Shona Kinley MacKeen); her grandchildren, Ewan and Kirstie; her niece Romney; and her nephew Thane Cody.
Donations can be made to the SPCA, to honour her life-long love of pets, and to CNIB, where she had volunteered over the years and who helped her immensely in her final years.
