He is survived by: his wife Barbara Richards (McQueen); his sons, Dwight Richards (Cindy Morgan) and Jeffrey Richards (Christina Cochrane); his stepson Shawn Gilbert (Teresa Mercer); his grandchildren, Dylan, Erin, Julie, Mary Anne, Jason, Alysha, Lauren, Andrew, Braeden and Gemma; and his sisters, Gwen Murphy (late Lawrence) and Eleanor Thomson (late James). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
