It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Theresa Moore (Saint John, New Brunswick), who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Nickerson and Eva Nickerson (Buote); her husband William James Moore; and her siblings, Mary McGowan and Donald.
She is survived by: her children, Don Moore (Myra) of Quispamsis and Beth Casey (Joe) of Halifax; her granddaughters, Jessica Churchill (Brandon) and Jennifer Shannon (Adam); her stepgranddaughters, Denise Lowe (Jason) and Karen Gover (Stephen); her great grandchildren, Renée, Jack, Kennedy and Max; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Chelsea, Vaiden, Audrey, Austin and Indy; and her sisters, Marjorie Marsten, Helen "Babe" Bonner and Barb Munroe (Bruce). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brenan's Funeral Home (111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB E2K3H6). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Redeemer Parish (316 Somerset St, Saint John, NB E2K2Y4).
