She was predeceased by: her parents, William MacPherson and Alice MacPherson (Walsh); and her brother Bill. She is survived by: her husband David Wade; and her siblings, Kenneth, Gordon, Lois and Janice. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brenan's Paradise Row Funeral Home (111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB E2K3H6).

Donations in memory of Ruth may be made to Alzheimer's Society and Kiwanis Nursing Home.
