He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Wisted and Elsie Wisted (Goldsworthy); his wife Ann Marie Wisted (Glaspy); his son-in-law Mike Widmer; his grandson Shaun Wisted; and his brothers, Gerald and James.
He is survived by: his children, Ron Wisted (Jennifer), Stephen Wisted (Carrie) and Christine Widmer of Fort Myers, Florida; his grandsons, Michael and Andrew; his siblings, Michael Wisted (Donna) and Mary Weston (Alfred); his pet Jack; his sisters-in-law, Jeannette Glaspy and Sandra Savoie; and also Krystal Eliassen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
