It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roland Eldon Wilson (Saint John, New Brunswick), who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Wilson (McCavour) and Alward Wilson; and his brother-in-law Don Taylor (Bonnie Wilson). He is survived by: his sons, Danny (Mary), Shaun (Emily), Ryan (Kara) and Brent (Taryn); his grandchildren, Phoebe, Huxley and Gwyneth; his brother Melvin Wilson (Eileen); his sisters-in-law, Janie Deveau (Wally) and Irene Taylor (Don); and his friends, Daryl Wilson (Sharon), Hugh Brittain (Rose) and Kenneth Galbraith (Judy). He is also survived by his wife, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Castle Funeral Home (309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M2L3). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM at the Castle Fallsview Chapel (309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M2L3). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:50 AM at the same location.
Donations in Roland's memory can be made to the Lorneville Cemetery, Gideon Bibles, or a charity of the donor's choice.
