He was predeceased by: his parents, Rene Holt and Hazel Holt (Cleghorn); his son Scott; and his brothers, George and Frank.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Holt (McInnis); his children, Alexander and Christina (Amanda); his siblings, Paul Holt and Phylis Murphy (Patrick); and his pets, Rupert and Bella.
