With solemn reverence, we commemorate Robert Jeffries (Saint John, New Brunswick), born in Jeffries Corner, New Brunswick, whose life came to an end on January 21, 2023 at the age of 91, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Jefferies and Gertrude Jefferies (Armstrong); his siblings, Ira, Cedric (Doreen), Audrey Oulton (Harley), Lois Prosser (Harold) and Shirley McFarlane; and his brothers-in-law, Donald McFarlane, Clarence'Bud'MacLong and David McLong.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Jeffries (McLong); his children, Rev Canon Paul Jeffries of Uganda, Edward Jeffries and Sherry Doucet of Saint John; his sister-in-law Dorene MacLong of Sussex Corner; and his grandsons, Brandon Doucet and Trevor Jeffries. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Remembrances made to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
