He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Fisher and Alice Genevieve Fisher (Carey). He is survived by: his wife Andrea (LeBlanc); his children, Anne MacLennan (Blair) and Chris Fisher (Gail); his grandchildren, Kysten Fisher (Jon Wurm), Jordan Fisher (Grant MacNeil) and Meghan Carey (Zac Carey); and his sister Linda VanBuskirk. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
