He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar McCoy and Laura McCoy (Gibbons); his wife Nancy (Bartlett); and his siblings, Larry McCoy, Gerry McCoy, Carl Sweetser and Donna Leard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Heather Melanson, Nancy Fraser (Terry) and Sherry Turrett (Hector); his grandchildren, Colton Melanson, Brandon Fraser, Chantelle Fraser and Samantha Turrett (Keith); his sisters, Joan Hughes and Sandra Grey; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Richard (Guy) and Emily McCoy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
